We’ve been watching the weather channel since we live in north central Florida. We have plenty of water, batteries and peanut butter and jelly. Hopefully he will turn north and won’t visit us. Flap Card

I saw this idea on Pinterest and really liked it. It’s called a flap card and you only use a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2” piece of card stock for the base. Your message is under the flap. I have some beautiful decorative paper but I love to color too so this card gave me a chance to use both. I made this card for a friend who is a quilter. The image is from Sassy Cheryl and I colored it with my Lyra colored pencils. I shaded the background with a make up brush I bought from Amazon. A Tweet Card

When I went to the convention in Kissimmee a couple weeks ago, I bought a square shaker window template by Art Gone Wild. I’ve had a lot of fun with it. The birds are from an old Stampin Up set and this new paper from Stampin Up is perfect for it. I had a wonderful day at Stampfest in Kissimmee, Florida. When we got a parking spot at the front door, we knew right away it was going to be a good day. 😁 This card was not made with anything I bought today. Tune in next week for that. I was inspired to get out a Stampin’ Up set I bought a long time ago, and my new Buffalo Check stamp. It’s so rewarding to me to use something I’ve had for a long time. Who’d have thought it!

For years my favorite colored pencils were Faber Castell Colored Pencils. Then two weeks ago I took a class (something I’ve been wanting to do for quite a while) with Janelle Johnson, and she introduced me to Lyra Polycolor Pencils. I am now a proud owner of 72 Lyra pencils. 🥰 I love the way they flow across the paper. March Color Challenge

Bugaboostamps.com aka Catch the Bug had a color challenge for us this month. We were to use the following colors on our card, grey, black, two tones of blue, red and pale green.
