Close, But No Cigars

I appreciate Power Poppy’s weekly “hues to use’ as it challenges me, or should I say helps me, to use different color combinations. Since I use Faber Castell colored pencils instead of Copics, it sometimes is hard to use the exact color I want. Thus, I titled this post, “Close, but no cigars.” 😂

  1. Your card is gorgeous, you've really done an amazing job with the colouring. I love the way you've chosen different tones of purple for the beautiful tulips, and the lovely embossed background gives your card lots of texture.
Unfortunately, your card doesn't meet the requirements for our challenge, which is to use a Beccy's Place image, so you won't be eligible to win a prize, but thank you for sharing it with us, it really is beautiful.
    Cheers,
    Beccy

    1. My apologies... I just worked out that it was your other beautiful card that was entered into the challenge. Now I'm off to have a bit of a poke around in here... your work is lovely.

I couldn’t resist buying a digital stamp set and matching digital paper from digidoodlesstudios.com.  I smiled the whole time I was coloring...
