Hues to Use

I’m a couple days late in submitting a card I made using the colors suggested by Marcella from powerpoppy.com in Tuesday’s Hues to Use. The colors are orange, green and white. I used two shades of orange and two shades of green of my colored pencils, but only one shade of white. Lol

I had a lot of fun coloring this adorable image from bugaboostamps.com. To top it off, it was a free digi from last Friday. I colored it with my Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. I colored the clouds with chalk using a stencil I bought at My Favorite Things.

Close, But No Cigars

I appreciate Power Poppy’s weekly “hues to use’ as it challenges me, or should I say helps me, to use different color combinations. Since I use Faber Castell colored pencils instead of Copics, it sometimes is hard to use the exact color I want. Thus, I titled this post, “Close, but no cigars.” 😂

These boots are not for walkin’

Here I go again. I’m on a roll (that gets bogged down when it comes time to post the photo 😩) so I’m entering another challenge, this time in imaginethatdigistamp.com. Theme is “anything goes” but the requirement is to use an image from Imagine That Digistamp, which fortunately I had. 😁 I chose Piggy Boots/tulip planter which I colored with my Faber Castell Pollychromos pencils.

Anything goes

I chose these geraniums from Powerpoppy.com to color with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. I love coloring flowers with my pencils. I find it to be so relaxing and something I can do at night while watching television with my husband.

Patterned Paper a Must

Craftyhazelnutspatternedpaper.blogspot.ca has a monthly challenge which stipulates the use of patterned paper.  I used a digital stamp from disdigistamps.com and colored it with my Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils.
