Last Sunday in August 😳

Powerpoppy.com is at the top of my favorite digital websites. The digital stamps are beautiful and the challenges are inspiring. This one is to color something using our birthstone as a guide.  Since my birthday is in May, and my birthstone is an emerald, I  chose Wish You Luck for my image.

Buzzing around real soon

My brother-in-law recently had surgery and is recovering from a knee replacement so I made him this card. I decided to enter it in a few challenges. The image is from powerpoppy.com. The background paper is from Michaels.

Monday night and ready to enter a challenge or two

powerpoppy.com has a great challenge for us this month. Cindy Lawrence wants us to create a project inspired by a favorite room or corner in our home. I used the mantle over our fireplace for my inspiration to make this card.

They say an elephant never forgets...

...But being human, I did forget to make a card soon enough for my friend in upstate New York to get it in time for her birthday. It will arrive a day or two after her big day. 😫 The good news is I did make it in time for me to enter it in disdigidesignschallenge.blogspot.co.uk. I used decorative paper, card stock and bling from my stash.

First week in August almost in the books

Where does the time go. Do you wonder that too. My friend asked me to make a card for her daughter who will soon have an empty nest. After thinking about it, it dawned on me that I did have a nest, but it had three eggs in it. No problem, I used my white out and eliminated the eggs and then colored it brown with my colored pencil. How neat it is, to have a stamp that is just what you need.
