Paper Piecing

The challenge for sweetstampingchallengeblog.blogspot.com this week is paper piecing.  Timing for me is great because I finished a graduation card this afternoon using this technique for a friend’s daughter. The stamp set is from Stampin Up, called Beautiful You.

Lifting you in prayer

The Incywincydesignsblogspot.com challenge this week is “With Things that Fly.” I made this card for the challenge. The theme is perfect timing because I wanted to make a card for someone going through a very difficult time, and I thought she would appreciate this card.

Graduation Card

A friend of mine asked me to make a graduation card for her granddaughter. I chose this image from powerpoppy.com, one of my favorite digital sites. It’s called “Seeds of Today.” I colored it with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils. I used distressed ink for the shading.
